Knowles, R. D.; Brockopp, D. Y.: Building rapport; through neurolinguistic programming. Kango Gijutsu. Oct, Vol. 30(13) pp. 1829-34., 1984. Abstract: Explored the basic tenet of neurolinguistic programming theory, concerned with the senses through which people receive information. Visual, auditory-tonal, auditory-digital, and kinesthetic sense modalities were objectively categorized as separate modes for receiving information. The responses of 176 21-47 yr olds in a file-questionnaire setting indicated more preference for the use of auditory-tonal, auditory-digital, and kinesthetic sensory modes than the visual modality.
